How long do you wait for a reply to your application?

    How long do you wait for a reply to your application?
    Hi

    I have just applied for an apprentiship as its my first one I am not expecting to a get anything as some on here seem to have really good CV's and Don't get one.

    the applications closed yesterday so i was wondering how long did it take any of you to hear back?

    It can be anything really, anything from a few days to 4 weeks. If the advert doesn't specify I usually assume that if I've not heard after a week then I've been unsuccessful.

    I have applied for a few apprenticeships, I received a reply after a month for one, and for another one i got a reply in just a few days. It can vary, GOOD LUCK!!!

    Thanks i am just worried as i am 19 I may find it harder than others to get one.
