Indecisive people!
Hi all,
I am new to TSR, applying for BSc Speech and Language Therapy for 2012 through Extra. I originally applied to study Adult Nursing and turned down a place at Uni Essex because I realised it wasn't what I wanted to do... Better to know now though I guess rather than later! lol.
Now I am playing the waiting game in UCAS Extra .. is anybody else in the same situation? I have been waiting to hear back from City for nearly 8 weeks and am starting to get super stressed.
Any other indecisive people out there?!
Good luck to everyone applying for uni places and with exams this summer!

I am indecisive too! Accepted an unconditional firm offer but found out another university which offers better opportunities and more flexibility. The worse/'good?' thing is the university which I have firmed offered me a partial scholarship (I didn't know they offer scholarships when I applied!). I am now torn between those two choices. :/ -

I definitely used to be indecisive. I'm not so sure now. -
Re: Indecisive people!Oh no! That's a tough one.. I guess it depends on how vital the scholarship is to you, would you be able to afford the course otherwise? (sorry if that's come across as cheeky, I didn't mean it to) if the other course is a better course then that means better job prospects etc. Hope you can decide!(Original post by JadeJenz)

The deadline is getting closer and I have yet to make up my mind!
I could afford the course without a scholarship, but when I take into account my siblings (2 of them) who will be entering university very soon (great amount of $$$ needed), I feel guilty if I turn down the original offer with scholarship :/ What would you do if you are in my position?
And have you heard any news from City? Extra has ended, right? Hopefully it's a good one

Re: Indecisive people!
Hey,
If the other course has definitely accepted you, the better one, then I would go with that one. I think..What will you be studying? with the economy how it is (rubbish!) maybe with a degree from a well respected "better" uni you would stand a better chance at getting a job at the end of it. On the other hand I hear what you're saying, the scholarship will help..
It's a hard decision! ah I feel for you
Nope still waiting... they said they will let me know tomorrow, I just want to know so I can get on with my life! haha! -
