    National/Regional IT Jobs
    Hi,

I've been listening to the local radio and it raised a rather obvious and interesting question:

"If you have a degree will you be able to find work in your local area" I then realised that the degree in computer science that I now intend to do will give me a different skill-set for most of the jobs in my region.

Therefore where are the best places within England for IT work and possibly within Europe?

Reading/Berkshire is a hotspot for IT work, sometimes referred to as the silicone valley of the UK. Lot's of IT companies have offices there like HP, IBM, Verizon etc.
