Re: What age did you stop growing?I'm 5ft. I'm a girl. I think I probably stopped growing by about year 9 or so. My parents are both below 5"3 so I was never going to be tall really. I think it's all genetic and really varies - best bet is asking your rents what age they stopped growing.

About 15, at 6 ft 2. I think generally girls are a year or so before boys.

Re: What age did you stop growing?I was 5ft 8in in September and right now 5ft 9in. (Both measured by doctors office so I am guessing pretty accurate) I turned 18 in February.
Males generally grow until early 20s and nearly all of the males in my family are late bloomers, most of my cousins really start picking up height around 17-18 year old mark. Hopefully I can hit the 5ft 10in mark!Last edited by AbuAK; 06-07-2012 at 05:58. -

Re: What age did you stop growing?I was 6' from 14 to 20 and I had safely thought I had stopped growing then, had even tailored some rather expensive suits for both business and social purposes, except at 21 had a growth spurt of 2" and a further 2" at 23. Though weirdly enough I lost 1" of height after that as I had gained quite a bit of weight then.
Was told by doctors both in UK and USA that it isn't unusual for some to get growth spurts up until the age of 25 or so, though it is rare past the age of 20. -

Re: What age did you stop growing?Being semi-facetious, but nah I'm pretty much 6'1 exactly. It's probably 6' 0.75" after a full day and my spine is compressed; everyone loses a few mm in height over the course of a day, which then returns to normal during sleep.(Original post by Herr)
