Yannick deserves the same support that attacked international students in the West recieve, such as Anuj Bidve.
The Indian authorities need to wake up and stop being hypocrites.
Thanks guys. -
Re: Justice for YannikI don't live there. I guess so but I don't know. I have witnessed 5 oriental-looking people in the media (one a contestant in a show, a indian idol contestant who won, a soccer player who was a contestant in a show, and a Indian Idol - haha I don't watch that stuff anymore but yeah pretty sure this is it - contestant/dentist/actor, and another indian idol contestant who won).(Original post by Aaron_xyz)
Is there a lot of racism in India against the oriental-looking Indians in the North East?
Last time I went to India - I did see a few in tv ads probably because they were light skinned (racist itself - yep and looking at you too 'fair and lovely').
But it can also be states vs states etc.
I don't really understand why someone would feel immense hatred for someone who has done nothing to them but looks different(etc). Those racist people are disgusting.Last edited by wingspari; 13-07-2012 at 21:05.
