Do babies that die go to heaven?

They don't have the ability to know good from evil so I assume cannot sin.

But

They also don't have the ability to accept religion so wouldn't qualify

Well Christianity says we are all born with the original sin of Adam and Eve, the only way to 'remove' it is through baptisement therefore i would assume unbaptised babies which die and any other none baptised people go to hell.

Didn't you hear by the way? - The Pope removed Purgatory a few years back although he didn't elaborate whether or not unchristened babies had now been sent to heaven or not. The swine!

That leaves the question as to whether babies from before the change of mind were given retrospective residence in heaven, and how the Pope was able to instruct God that this should be the case.

Hey, I don't know about you but it brings me GREAT comfort to know that the Pope spends his days agonizing over these things.

Remember when the last Pope attributed his survival from the assassination attempt to the intervention of the saint Our Lady of Fatima? He named her as specifically being responsible for his recovery.....so presumably all of the other saints (and God himself!) were busy on that day?
