I am Jewish and it is written no where in our Bible of any after life of any kind. We believe you should be a good person just because that is the right thing to do. You should not do anything good because you want a reward. Thats not the right way to live life.

So whether there is these concepts of heaven and hell, we dont know. But you should not base your actions on going to either.
    I agree.

The idea of a heaven sounds like more of a hell to me. Luckily, heaven and he'll don't exist.

In islam, there's a story that a non-believer was nice to a dog and fed him in a desert with no food and she went to heaven, and a muslim lady wasn't good to a cat and would lock her up and won't feed her and she went to hell.
I guess if a human being is good, doing the right thing they have a chance to go to heaven, however it says that if you believe in more than one god you're not going to heaven, but if you believe in one god, the god of Abraham and in no way you're believing in multiple gods, then yes you have a chance i guess.
Muslims, correct me if i'm wrong.

I suggest you read the Quran, it clearly states that people of the book can and will go to heaven.

''Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in God and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve .'' [Quran 2:62]

no books ever told me what to do and what im capable of. A book is merely a book it is written in that time frame and thats where it belongs. The future changes the ink remains dry.

"And whoever seeks a religion other than Islaam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." [Aal ‘Imraan 3:85]

The hadeeth is: "By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, there is no-one of this ummah, Jew or Christian, who hears of me then dies without believing in that with which I have been sent, but he will be one of the people of Hell." (Reported by Muslim, may Allaah have mercy on him, in al-Saheeh, 153).

Your quote which you posted is 100% correct, however from the rest of the Qur'an and other sources it is clear that the christians jews etc mentioned there are the ones that were around before Islam.

    Hope it helps.

please guys if any can find or have the english translation of the hadith quote me please.

    Hope that helps

No, I am a Hindu and Hindus believe that anyone (including members of other religions and atheists) can get closer to God, heaven or reincarnate back into a human- not necessarily just Hindus themselves. The reason for this is because Hindus are aware that not everyone has the same religion so any good, courteous, compassionate person can receive these rewards. Besides, Hindus have to be good people themselves in order to be rewarded so everyone has an equal chance. :P

I think Buddhists/ Sikhs/ Jains have similar beliefs of any good person (regardless of religion) being able to reach heaven/ being reincarnated into a human.

From the Jewish perspective there is very little information of what is known as the 'World to Come', but it is generally accepted that there is no hell. People will be rewarded, so to speak, for the actions they do, not their beliefs. It is also said that people who commit serious sins will simply cease to exist.

I thought Jews believed that everybody, regardless of their beliefs or whether they were a good person went to Sheol. From an anthropological point of view it is just an evolution of the ancient Greek belief of an underworld, the same way most religious beliefs evolve from previous religions.
There is no 'party line' on heaven and hell in Judaism, and it does not really loom large in the Jewish consciousness, the idea being that this life is most important, although there are some writings which point to the idea that there will be a bodily ressurection for the righteous in the messianic age, with everyone else simply left out. A key component of Judaism is that you do not have to be Jewish to be righteous, and that conversion to Judaism is not encouraged. Non-Jews are supposed to follow the Noahide laws. Being a Jew is not therefore a matter of belief, as a non-Jew who believed that Judaism was correct would not need to become a Jew.

Your claims about Greek origins don't really make sense chronologically or geographically though.

There are several interviews published with this man, Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, who has admitted that he was a terrorist in Kashmir, but was apparently quite **** at it and gave it up after being jailed for three years.

I believe that if you're a good person - if you haven't done anything truly terrible to hurt anyone else and been without remorse - then you go to Heaven.
