Maybe it's cos he knows the lad better than you do, and is advising you not to for your own good. I have friends I like going out with but who I'd advise my other friends not to get with because they have a reputation for being weird on the day after / sexually aggressive / a mega-slut / etc. It could be that he likes you. It could also be that he just doesn't want to go out with you and have you two pull because it's two less mates for him to hang out with.

I'm sure you've been out with mates before and had them pull and been left alone.

I personally think it's bad manners to pull in front of your mates, if you're gonna do that sort of thing, at least don't do it in their faces. So maybe you're the one who is known for being weird on the day after / sexually aggressive / a mega-slut / etc. (No offence)

I didn't actually tell him which friend i thought was attractive, i just said i'd noticed that an attractive guy was attending on the event on FB, so your first point is moot.
It's his birthday and there's like 25 people going out, so i doubt its your 2nd point either.
Well i'll pull a guy in the club somewhere (just kissing/flirting) not neccessarily right next to them, so its not like i'm literally right there in their faces- but i'm in the same club so it kind of is... and nah i'm not weird the day after or sexually aggressive or a mega slut haha. I don't sleep around at all, i just like chatting and flirting with guys when i'm out and drunk... as i say my other guy friends don't mind it as far as i'm aware

Okay, so he's not looking out for you. And he's not looking out for his guy-friend either. And you don't think he wants to hang out with you all night because there are enough other people going. And you're not an in-your-face-I've-pulled kind of person (I have friends that act like that when they're drunk, it wasn't meant as an insult).

So I think he probably does have some feelings for you.

How does this make her a slut? If the guy who likes her can't get the courage to do anything about it, she's entitled to kiss whoever she likes infront of him. And drunken kisses in clubs hardly makes someone a slut.
