hey guys I would appreciate your help in recommending a good camera and microphone for youtube videos.

Id like the camera to be 1080p budget around £150 although open to more expensive suggestions

With a budget of £150 you can either buy a very average camera or a good microphone. Certainly not both

I have a Samsung WB650 - the quality is brilliant, and also the sound recording. I love mine for concerts and no matter where I am, front row or up in the seated stands, I've always got a good video to put onto YouTube.

Doesn't have real HD video and unless you're shooting video outside the quality will be even worse due to the lack of light sensitivity

What kind of videos are you looking to make? Could you get away with just a camera and put a voiceover on the shots?

Kodak Zi8 or something, you've got 150 quid you're not gonna be getting a 5D Mk II or anything
