Job Centre asking for course end date confirmation that I don't have...
Basically I signed up for jobseekers allowance and they asked for a letter stating the date of which my course finished.. which I don't have. I mean we know when our course ends.. we don't need a letter telling us that. The people at the job center don't seem to understand this. I've shown them the acceptance letter with the start date and the fact that it's a 3 year course but apparently they think I could still be on the course... Massive eye roll aside, what can I do here? I've shown them my letter about graduation but it's 'not what they need'.. because they seem to think I can somehow still be studying even when I've graduated... Anyone else had this problem, and what did you do about it?

Re: Job Centre asking for course end date confirmation that I don't have...Just find an official document from your uni that has your course dates on it. That should do. If not, just ask your tutor to write a letter for you and have them print it on uni paper.(Original post by killthebatman)

You may not need a letter to know when your course ends, but Jobcentres do since they need proof to ensure your claim is valid. -

If you have deferred work for July then you wont get JSA for another 3 weeks.
If you have finished and passed your degree, shouldn't be a problem.
