Questions about transfer university:)
Hello everyone, i am a new member here, glad to have discussions with you guys!

I have some questions about transfer to anther university.
My situation is at first, i got an unsuccessful application from the University of Manchester on UCAS.
Therefore i decided Royal Holloway as my firm choice. But actually, i still really want to study in Manchester. I have no chances to get into Manchester at this moment (i think
).
So, i want to know after i study in Royal Holloway, can i transfer to Manchester, if its possible, what kind of actions i need to do now? I really new to the UK education system! Please anyone gives me some advices, thank you very much!!! Cheers!
(P.S : i m going to study Management and international business) -
Re: Questions about transfer university:)
Hi! I'm transferring university myself this September. I recommend you go to Royal Holloway and complete the first semester. Then apply through UCAS for Manchester, just as you did this year, but obviously including that you're part way through a year of university study at Royal Holloway. If you can get your personal tutor at Royal Holloway to write you a reference as well that'd be great, maybe mentioning that you need one in the last couple of weeks of term.

Re: Questions about transfer university:)
If you know for certain that you don't want to go to Royal Holloway, then I don't see why it's worth going there in the first place - if it's only going to make you miserable? Trust me, I made a similar mistake and ended up hating where I was. So I'd go with the above user's advice in that a year out might make more sense. However, if for whatever reason you can't do that, then Tesphena's option sounds like the alternative.
