    Serious overheating of laptop!
Anyone know why this is happening? Obviously laptops would tend to heat up around the bottom etc, but this is so hot you can't touch it, and ends up all over. Hope my laptop isn't broke

Something seems off, maybe get a can of compressed air and blow out the dust?
Or than get a cooling pad.

Mine is super hot too! My battery is pretty much broken and the laptop randomly switches off sometimes, idk if they're all connected.

I wish I knew where the air intake was. May I add; completely clueless with computing

I recently had an overheating issue with my laptop

How hard is it to use the method in bold?

    Can a beginner use it?

    Just spray away, right?

Yeah, just in one air vent, everything should come out the other, otherwise open it up and use the compressed air

It's a vent on the side of the laptop with small holes to let air in

I clean the vents regularly, use a cooling pad that is also cleaned regularly and, if the room is already very hot or I want to do something very intensive (read: play games) I get a desk fan and angle it so it blows into the vent.
