    Try Classic with the gain set quite high, or R-Fier with the gain slightly lower. These are modelled after Marshall and Mesa amps respectively. Add maybe a touch of reverb or delay, but not too much, and just play about with the tone knob until you're happy.
    Be sure to experiment with different tones to find your way around the controls.

    Something that may be worth getting (if you have an ipod) is AmpKit. Basically you buy this cable which connects your guitar and amp (or headphones) to your ipod, and there's an app which is a virtual amp. You can get it free with a few presets, and you can buy different effects if you want.
