]If it isn't now, you're doing it wrong.

You can think that life peaks at 25-40, but remember this; You could be dead this time tomorrow.

I'll neg the first person to say "YOLO."[/QUOTE]

For some reason, this reminded me of this great quote:

“Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish—a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow—to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whisky, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested . . . Res ipsa loquitur. Let the good times roll.”

Depends. I had a good childhood but particularly enjoyed 9-11. Later my sex maniac years 16-18 and then 20-22. These contrast with really horrible times 11-16 19-20 22-24. The horrible times came about as a result of the good times. I think of them as growing pains.

I think life will be better in future. Had i always had the experience i have now the bad times wouldnt have happened.

Life gets better as you get better at life.

From my experience, when I was 18-22 was the best time of my life. Some parts of being 24 was cool too.

Now I'm jaded and filled with despair most of the time.

I think my problem has always been a nonsensical idealisation of the future rather than the present. When I was in year 1 I always wanted to be in year 6, when I was in year 6 I always wanted to be in secondary school, when I was 12 I'd long to be 16 or so. Such a stupid thing but I always did - and do - it. I'm 18 now and of course the crushing truth is that you don't treasure your childhood until it's gone. A lot of people would say teenage years are the best but they weren't that great for me.

My best year so far had to be 2002 when I was aged 9-10, best year of my life - went to the USA and to this day I have promised myself I WILL go back one day, but maybe just visit a different state as I don't want my memories to be altered - I <3 FLORIDA!!!

In regards to everything else, thus far it HAS to be when I was 18 (2010-2011), leaving school and starting university. Best year ever. 19 has been OK too, but I'm looking forward to seeing what 20 brings, as I begin the first year of being in my twenties later this year

In regards to the future, I reckon around 30-35, as that's when you are supposed to be in your prime. I would love to be a fortune teller and see myself 15 years from now, albeit I cannot, so I will just have to wait and see what the future has in store for me.

18 was my worst age ever, no men around, developed anxiety, hated university, I can't wait to be in my mid-twenties. I'll hopefully have my life together by then!

Any age can be great if you make it - but there is something about the university years, no real work, lots of other young attractive people about, so many opportunities to do fun stuff.

When I was too young to understand how ****ed up everything is and I could find joy in most things.
This. I'm surprised there aren't more answers like this.

When I have a baby- whatever age that is- that will be the best year of my life... and every year after that
Boring! Ask pretty much any parent and they will tell you that they sacrificed decent years of their lives to bring up children. And think of all that stress; the nappies, the crying in the middle of the night. I don't much care for having children, or getting married; its so generic and stifling.

My parents can't wait for me and my sister to fly the nest so they can "get our lives back". They want to travel together but they can't because they had to work and bring up two kids. Therefore parenthood cannot be the best years of your life, its got to be your 20s
