    NVQ 2?
    Hey,

I have applied for an apprenticeship in Business Administration NVQ 2. I have just found that NVQ 2 is GCSE level. The recruiters have stated that if after 6 months, the apprentice succeeds and performs well they may keep them in the company. Do you think this will be temp or permanent. Also, if they don't keep me or if it's temp, what more can I do with an NVQ 2? I have 3 A levels and 13 GCSE's already. Can I get a good job with this?

    Thankyou!

Its not always about how many gcse's you have or your grades.I think grades 50% everything else is YOU. Only becuase you have things on paper does not make you any better than anyone else.

I know people who did awful in school and have good well paid jobs its also how you present yourself. Please don't think becuase you have great grades you will find it easy its hard for everyone.

If you already have A-levels your NVQ level 2 will just be an extra certificate may help you in another buisness admin job.

I have more or less the same qualifications as you already, and will be starting a NVQ level 2 apprenticeship in September. I'm not so interested in the qualification itself, I just see it as an opportunity to get experience and to get my foot in the door. As they're likely to offer you further employment once you have completed the first year.
