    Computer Science G400 ??
    Hi
Considering options for university (2013) in Computer Science but the problem I got is I'm not much good at maths (I got a C at GCSE - that's about it). Most courses only accept maths at grade B or at a-level. Could anyone recommend me some good uni's or share the experience of the difficulties and interests in computer science.
    Thanks

Can't recommend as I haven't started yet, but I've got an unconditional for CompSci at Chester. Their course doesn't require A Level maths since it's not as focused on the theoretical side of things as most universities. The offer this year was typically around 280 UCAS points.

I only have grade C Maths at GCSE too, and my course lecturer assured me that a lot of the other students will be in the same boat. It's just like any course really, if you want to do well you'll need to put the work in.

My advice though, if you still can, is to take A level maths even if you think you're not good enough. It'll take a lot of work, but it will open up more options for which universities you apply for.

Have a look at Lancaster, they don't require Maths at A-Level and only require the C at GCSE. I went to the open day last year and they seemed to have a pretty good and varied course which didn't descend into "Games Design" like some Computer Science degrees without Maths do. I don't know whether it would be worthwhile to try and do AS Level Maths but it would probably look better on a personal statement than having done only GCSE Maths.
