You have a Young Persons Railcard? A third off the prices with one :-)

Go onto trainline.com, they will tell you the normal price, or you can add in that you have a railcard xx

If you have the 16-25 railcard, you can't get the season ticket. But you may find that the season ticket works out more expensive anyway.

There is a minimum fare of £12 to use a YP Railcard before 10:00am.

A season ticket will be the most cost effective way if you're commuting every day.

Don't use thetrainline. You'll get exactly the same prices by going directly to the train company's website, but you will save £1 on the booking fee.

If Transpennine Express run trains from Manchester to Liverpool and vice versa (and I'm fairly sure they do?) you can get a 50% off student rate on their website with your young person's railcard.
