Are there any songs or hymns that you particularly feel have God somehow embedded within them? Or that a hidden power gives you the strength to sing it it effortlessly?

For me it's And can it be by Charles Wesley, especially the penultimate verse, and also In Christ Alone, especially the chorus/refrain.
    Hello RightSaidjames,

I do feel that many songs are definitely inspired by God's greatness, and are wonderful ways to praise Him!!!

One of my favorites is Handel's "Hallueluah Chorus". It makes me sad when people use it for other reasons than glorifying God. Handel wrote it to glorify God, not for mocking purposes. Beethoven's is also beautiful.

One of my current favorite praising God songs is "10,000 Reasons: Bless the Lord All my Soul", by Matt Redman!!!

    AWESOME!!!

Christian songs are great aren't they! I'm not sure that some have God in them more than others, or God makes us sing them effortlessly (because I'm sure I'm not effortless in my singing ) but they are a great reminder of what Jesus has done for us and I've certainly been reminded of the power of the Gospel and the love God has for us. Songs I love are 'Before the throne of God' and 'Come people of the risen king' by Keith and Krysten Getty.
