    The Goverments work expiriance scheme
The goverment has the work expiriance scheme in place to aid people in getting back to work. The way the system works is that if a company decides to take on somebody for this scheme they will work there for a specified amount of time and be trained in how to work in that sort of enviroment. At the end of the work expiriance the person taken on may be offered the chance to stay on working there if the company has a place and thinks they have done a good job. On the other hand if they can't offer them a job then the person taken on will have the expiriance of having worked there and have two references for there C.V which would possibly help them gain employment in the future. Benefits are also not stopped on this scheme they would just have to ask for a few minutes off to go and sign on every fortnight.

The reason i have written this is because the protesters that disagree with this scheme and don't know the difference between work expiriance ans slave labor have now cost me two oppotunites on this scheme with asda and holland and barrett having to pull out of this scheme. If these people don't want to try and find work through this scheme thats there business but don't take away the chance for people who are willing to try to find work through this the chance to do so.

If Asda and Holland and Barret need someone to come in and work for them they should create a position and pay someone at least the minimum wage to do it.

Walmart aren't exactly strapped for cash are they? It's a ridiculous scheme which only serves to stifle the job market. There is no incentive to create jobs if you can get one of the millions unemployed to come in and do it for sod all.

    Disadvantages to Job seeker:
    • Being forced into a job they might not like
    • Being paid below minimum wage
    • Missing out on oppertunities as no time is available to find a real job.

    Disadvantages to Tax Payer:
    • Tax are being spent on paying Tesco to accept free labour.
    • Real jobs are taken off the market due to the abundance of free labour.

    Advantages of scheme:
Under certain circumstances the job seeker could earn usefull experiance.
Companies like Asda will profit massively albeit at the expense of the economy.

    Conclusion
The scheme is terrible. It lets companies take advantage of both the tax payer and the desperate job seeker.

I've always wondered why so-called "free-market libertarians" cream themselves in support of these schemes when in reality they're just state sponsored means of subsidising large corporations at the expense of smaller businesses.

I mean seriously, it's not like you need months of experience to stack a sodding shelf.
