Girls please advice me - need to buy a gift for GF
    hi guys

Its for my gf's bday. I'm getting her a few priceless gifts that are thoughtful which are about memories we shared, things we did etc..but I'm sure a girl would still appreciate some sort of jewellery so that she can show off to her friends and what have you.
I don't know much about girls jewellery and brands. Swarovski? Pandora?
    Also do I get her a bracelet/necklace?
She has very small wrist so need to get that bracket custom made.
How about earrings? do i got for studs/ other types?

    so confused

if you want to buy earrings you can't go wrong with a pair of studs such as...

or earrings that drop a little are quite nice, such as....

    http://www.butterworthjewellers.co.u...earrings_L.jpg

if you want to buy a necklace and earrings, then getting a set will be better than buying them separately, so try something like this...

    hope this helps

A necklace is always a good bet cause, like you mentioned, there are no fitting issues... It can't be too big.

If you can, have a sneak at her jewellery or look through Facebook photos, to get an idea of the kind of jewellery she likes. Something simple is probably advisable (unless you know what she likes really well) like a plain pendant. Consider asking a friend of hers to help. Or maybe go into a jewellery shop with her on the pretense of looking for a watch for yourself, and keep an eye on what she looks at... If you're lucky she might point out something she likes!

Go for something very simple and elegant.

Swarovski is very nice (my boyfriend got me a necklace from there for my birthday last year and I absolutely love it) and they have a sale on at the moment too. But branding isn't that important - if you go to any high street jewellers (and by this I don't mean Claire's) they will have lots of lovely, quality pieces.

Personally I would go for a necklace or earrings (although keep an eye out for good deals on sets), unless she often wears bracelets. I love jewellery but I also have small wrists and find bracelets a pain! They're also more likely to be lost or damaged (at least by me) as I have to take them off to do the washing up and so on.

I really love heart-shaped pendants from Swarovski. They are quite simple and elegant.

They have a free delivery on purchases over £50 but if you want to buy it in the shop, you can find addresses here: http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/boutiquefinder
They usually have a counter in Debenhams
Hope it will make your present hunting a bit easier Good luck!

try any local jewellery shops (f. hinds, h. samuel etc.)
or if there aren't any near you, then most jewellery shops have online stores
i would recommend buying in person though, all jewellery looks good in photos, but you never know if it looks tacky until you're actually seeing the real product...

try www.etsy.com - it's a bit more unusual to get someone something from there. It's kind of similar to ebay I guess, in that it's not one shop, but hundreds of sellers, but it's mostly people who make them handmade. search for certain styles you like - so say, sapphire pendant, or whatever.

I would personally advise to steer clear of anything heart shaped.... it's a little bit cheesy! But it's really whatever you like, obviously. http://www.etsy.com/listing/81339463...pphire+pendant

Alternatively, if you do want to try a store, pandora, links of london, tiffanys, etc all have lovely things that you wouldn't have to spend hundreds on! What's your budget?

ps - seems like lovely gifts, she's very lucky!

Do a Van Gogh, cut off your ear and give it to her.

Get her a Thomas Sabo bracelet, with a nice love heart charm or something. They're adjustable too so you don't have to worry about it not fitting her small wrist!
