It is. During the holidays its ok as it's pretty much all I do (aside from reading things here and there) but at uni it's a bit of a stretch. I managed to get a good 2.i for my 2nd year with working 3 nights a week (4% off of the first boundary) and have a little bit of a social life but if you can help it I wouldn't recommend having a job while at uni unless you really need too (which annoyingly isn't an option for me)
I can understand oxbridge especiallly condoning it, however, which the amount of additional study you will need to do just to keep up with the lectures. Others do try and stop students working a lot if they can but understand thats not always possible.
Ah, the real question is, Oxbridge or Camford?

I used to think why not Camford! But it does sound gay and Oxbridge has the 'x' which makes it seem cooler!

Ooooh yay(Original post by xAlice95)
haha yeah I got like no sleep prom night either...I was sharing a blow up bed with a friend in another one of my friends front rooms...and she decided half way though the night that her side of the bed wasn't good enough so she took mine as well -__- I looked awful on my induction day! lol.
But yeah on the friday night, I remember pretending to be be fifty shades and tying my friend up on the trampoline and pretending to whip her with this random blue bit of material...and then telling this boy something along the lines of 'you may be more experienced than me (meaning with sex) but that doesn't mean your better than me cause..' blah blah blah.....soooo embarrassing!! haha
Unfortunately we were in my friends shed/summer house thing at the he'd of her garden which didn't have curtains so by the time we tried to sleep it was already light again
Loool! It sounds like you had a great time though!

Haha thanks(Original post by xAlice95)
Whooo well done you
I generally just find history soooo boring lol. and I find writing subjects like english and history ect soo much harder...I'm really worried about my english results and french...cause even though I tried ecspecially hard in them I just never seem to be able to get better! Not that I'm bad... I'm like A/B borderline but it's really annoying cause I want an A but I think I've probably not got it as the exams didn't go as well as they could of...
Tills are scary! theres sooo many different ways to pay and different things that could happen, that it's just like blagh! lol
Yeah me too especially when there isn't a wrong or right answer? That makes no sense to me!
Same about English, I find it really hard, especially literature
. What board did you take? x
Loving your description of tills by the way ;p -

Re: Current Year 11 thread mark IV (woo!) / Year 12 2012/13I know. I was being facetious.(Original post by Tullia)
It's 'Oxbridge' because Oxford was founded before Cambridge.

Re: Current Year 11 thread mark IV (woo!) / Year 12 2012/13Yeh. But that is because all the dons founded Cmabridge when they no longer liked Oxford.(Original post by Tullia)
