Right, plus LSE is completely underfunded in comparison to UoC or Stanford. It went down a lot in the rankings over the past ten years while UCL went up. Most of their master's program are cash cows benefiting from the reputation established by their historically strong degrees such as the MSc Economics. Overrated.
    Generally agree.

What I'd like to know is why they are underfunded ? What are they doing that needs some much cash ? Research ? I thought that $ came from Government ? How much is the Chancellor and VC getting and how much are the staff getting in whole package terms, that's what I'd like to know.

No, sorry it's not legit in the same sense as THES. TRIP is just a survey made up by " William & Mary " ... ? It includes mainly academia and is restricted to the English language, hardly " international " as you imply.

Also if it included students themselves, I bet LSE would not do half as well.

Many people would call this a semi bogus survey, THES trumps this any day; and since when is IR not a sub discipline of social sciences ?

Lastly, I think you should practice conversations with yourself since you and you only regard your standards of English to be superior, as for me, the is my last ever response to you.

I don't enjoy people who are alumni incognito using 2nd rate surveys to pump up certain universities. A lot of people would call that trolling.

    Thank you, Good Bye.
I'm sure you are aware that THE is an undergraduate survey. The OP is interested in a masters degree.

Fwiw I am not an LSE alumnus. But I am someone who is interested in doing an IR masters degree and who has done a lot of research into the various offerings.

As for trolling, someone who is asking questions about basic A-level statistics in other threads hardly seems qualified to comment on one of the postgrad disciplines LSE is renowned for. (I agree with Ghost actually that a number of their degrees are cash cows, but IR is one of the ones that has a stellar reputation.) Your antipathy towards LSE rather makes me think you are a rejected applicant.

The "underfunded" remark was mainly with respect to UoC or Stanford, if you compare endowments. The only schools coming close are Oxbridge and those are the richest in Europe.

Yes obviously, but WHY is LSE underfunded is what I want to know.
