I had one once where I was just sitting there in a park watching the world go by when this guy sat net to me and was talking. When I asked him who he was he said he was me and then we had a long conversation about a load of stuff

My favorites were when I went flying to Japan and played the piano insanely, I trained myself to tap two of my fingers onto the other hand, but during my dreams it slips right through, making me lucid immediately, it one of the best feelings, don't give up learning how to induce it!
    Holy **** that sounds amazing!

I've heard that doing the same 'reality checks' during the waking hours is good too, as those checks become a habit which you will naturally end up doing in your dreams.
Also, lucid dreams are more likely to occur in the mornings and during naps. So what has been suggested is that you set an alarm an hour earlier, wake up, and then go back to sleep for the remaining hour before you get out of bed. This is when they're most likely to occur...
...apparently. I've been trying for a year and a half, and still haven't got to the point where I realise that I'm dreaming. Doesn't really help that I'm an insomniac, I suppose.

I used to have them all of the time and eventually it got to a point where I knew that I was dreaming and could stay in the dream and even manipulate it, it was awesome. Sadly I haven't had any for a while and so I'm no really sure what causes them, just gotta hope it happens.

It really was, but for some reason I never actually got to Japan, I was flying there, I couldn't even see, I just knew that was the destination, probably because I'm a huge anime fan.

Yeah, that's exactly what I do, I tap my hand every hour every day. It does actually work. I don't use the WILD technique, I don't mind my subconscious inducing a lucid dream, but I don't like the idea of inducing it myself, i've tried on 4 occasions, one being successful, the other 3 inducing sleep paralysis, it was not a nice feeling to say the least! First experience I had no idea what had happened, my heart started beating incredibly fast, jerking me out of it, the second time it happened with my eyes closed! But I embraced it and went to sleep The time it did actually work it felt like I was sinking into my own mind sort of, really cool. But that one experience wasn't worth it. -.- If you can master it, it's a better method I suppose since you'll always go lucid.

    Haha, I see!
Woah that sounds scary!! Were you actually awake during sleep paralysis or does it happen when you're still sleeping?

Well sleep paralysis happens to everyone when they're sleeping, it's to prevent sleepwalking, when your body falls asleep faster than your mind and you try to move you end up with sleep paralysis, so you're completely awake but can't move a muscle. If you don't know what it is like I didn't, you end up ****ting bricks. *_*

I think a good idea would be to stay well rested.
