    I have a question
I have a conditional offer from university of warwick which stipulates that a I have to obtain at least a 9,5 score in mathematics and an overall score of 9,5 at the romanian baccalaureatte.I managed to obtain 9,55 in mathematics, 9,55 in computer science but only 9,00 in romanian literature; therefore my overall score is 9,36. Do you think that they will accept me anyway considering the fact that romanian literature is not very relevant for the field o economics (the subject for which I applied) and the fact that the romanian baccalaureate is a very difficult exam (about 60% of those who took it didn't obtain the passing grade which is 6) ?
Also...do you have any sugestions for what my e-mail to them should sound like when I beg them to still accept me?(i do not have an insurance...so it is either warwick or...Romania)
Thank you very much! (and I am sorry for any linguistic mistakes that I made)

call them and ask them! That's what people who miss their offers here do! They may ask you to wait until all the british people have got their a-level results to see how many people have missed their offers. Normally universities offer more offers than places because they expect some people to miss their offers. So you may or may not be able to go but they are under no obligation to take you as you missed the stipulated offer, but at the same time they may accept you but it's down to their discretion.

    Call them asap!

This sort of thing does often happen, although in this country it would be more common with A-level grades. For this reason, you would probably be asked to wait until the A-level results come out before you know if you have a place, since it will depend on how well everyone else did.

Have a look at post 3 on http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=1792980 which is written by a member of staff from the economics department.
