Re: Primark Interview?
Well i work there now and i'll agree with the people saying that the managers and supervisers can pratically force you into overtime.
The people you work with make it all better though, we have a right laugh with one of the supervisers too. I'm on customer services, it can get anoying when the customers don't agree with the policies that the store has and it does get mighty boring after about an hour of asking the same questions. You get used to it though. Almost been there a year now (started as an xmas temp last year)

Is it very easy to get a job at Primark? Well, YES in a way
Does anyone work at Primark, or used to?
I have an interview there (Primark) on Thursday at Sheffield Meadowhall Shopping Centre, but am very worried that I will blow my chances of getting the job there.
How was the interview, do they just employ anyone straight away?Last edited by Boreism; 03-03-2010 at 15:53. -
Re: Is it very easy to get a job at Primark?
I worked at a primark once upon a time.. I was told on the spot that I had the job.. I wasn't asked much.. just why I wanted the job, and then I was asked about what I was doing at uni.. It was all very chatty and informal.
And I think they do take on anyone.. (It was my first job and I had no experience what so ever... AND I am mega shy.
Good luck with your interview.. and try not to worry -

Re: Is it very easy to get a job at Primark?I've heard it's about £4.07 if you're 16-17 and £5.75 (mimimum wage) if you're 18+. Not bad if you just want a bit of money for the summer though(Original post by coolblergh)
What's the pay like?
Also - you know when they ask 'why do you want to work in this store?' what are you supposed to say? I'm looking to work at a store too hopefullyLast edited by Rainbow-Dream; 12-07-2009 at 23:25. -

Re: Is it very easy to get a job at Primark?I remember myself babbling on about how it is local to me and that I would be able to come in at short notice.. on my days off I was always being phoned and asked to come in.. I ended up keeping my phone switched off(Original post by Rainbow-Dream)

Re: Is it very easy to get a job at Primark? This might sound like a stupid question to you, but did your friends say anything about where their induction was held?(Original post by izzierascal)
My best friend works there and at the interview they just said to her "You'll need your uniform ready for your induction on Monday." or whatever. Loads of my other friends have got jobs there over summer, so I imagine it's not hard to get a job there
