I accidentally stole a bottle of Coke from Greggs once.

I was on my lunch break and in a rush so I picked up the bottle of Coke whilst waiting in the queue and tucked it under my arm whilst I was getting my purse out of my bag. When I paid for whatever food I was buying at the counter I completely forgot it was there and walked out with it still tucked under my arm and unpaid for. I realised and went straight back in (past a massive queue of people) to pay for it, cringeworthy but I couldn't handle the guilt!

When I was a kid I frequently used to take the free gifts off the front of comics. I vividly remember taking a limited edition Sylvanian family baby rabbit, and thinking I was awesome. I feel so guilty now though, despite it being 8 years or so ago.

I did the pick 'n' mix thing too.

My dad is the manager of a shopping centre and used to be chairman of an anti retail-related crime board. He just about killed me over stealing pick 'n' mix.

No, but I was with my sister when she was caught shoplifting once. I had no idea what she was doing as she just wandered into Boots and down a random aisle, while I looked at make up. And as we're walking out of the shop, two massive security guards come running towards us and then escorted my sister away.

It was pretty easy to guess what happened. And although it was highly embarrassing at the time, it was so funny watching my sister make up excuses as to why she couldn't go into Boots whenever she was with her boyfriend, who didn't know that she'd been caught and banned for shoplifting.

When I was younger (2/3ish) I was in my buggy and my mum & I wnet into Superdrug. Apparently, when mum was getting me out of the buggy, I was clutching a plug adapter (3-way one. We still have it ) I was always grabbing things from stands in shops like that.
Thieves always start young.

Stole a milky bar from the local Safeway back when I was 6 or 7, around 2000/2001. Hit it down my shorts as I didn't have any pockets :L

I've usually got enough money to get by and have never been majorly wronged by a shopkeeper so.. nope. I don't see stealing from our fellow man as particularly cool or moral

I also accidentally stole a pair of sunglasses from Primark. I tried them on and decided I wanted them and so held them in my hand but eventually put them into my bag at some point cos I obvious got subconsciously fed up of carrying them or something. When I went to get the bus home I saw them in my bag as was like wtf how did they get there and realised what I had done.

I have fond memories of buying nes games and super soakers from bridlington woolworths. Such a shame.
