what happens if I don't get the grades required?
Just I quick question, I only have a firm place and no insurance, the offer is AAB. If I don't get these grades will I be able to enter clearing on results day? will the clearing option appear on my ucas?
    thanks

Yes, if you miss your offer and the uni doesn't take you anyway then you'll automatically enter Clearing.

If your firm has rejected you, you will enter Clearing. Your Clearing number will appear on UCAS Track and you can start phoning universities, but you'll be unable to add a Clearing choice until 1800 hours on results day.

If your firm decide to take you anyway, you won't go to Clearing. If it remains conditional, you need to phone them to find out what's happening.
