Re: Why can't people like both Federer and Nadal?Someone earlier hit the nail on the head. I love tennis but don't follow it in the same way as I do football (ie support one team) so I like and support alot of players.
Like today, I am a fan of both Federer and Murray and would have happy either way the match went. Federer winning means him returning to number one and winning Wimbledon for the 7th time (joint highest with Sampras I think) and silencing the people saying he is too old. Murray winning means first British winner for 74 years, his first grand slam. So I was supporting both players. The same with the Murray/Tsonga match.
I actually am a massive fan of all the top 4 guys because I appreciate the way they play. I'm also a fan of Roddick,Tsonga, Del Potro, Ferrer etc.
I support players because I like the way they play or I like them as a person. Many people support a player like a football team and so tend to despise their biggest rivals. -

Djoker/Nadal will come back bigger and better dunno about the Fed Express but I hope he can add to his tally of Slams this year! The 4-6 ranked people are actually underrated and they play to the standard that the top 3 do sometimes -

I like them all for different reasons, though.. obviously
