Hey TSR peoples! I've been growing my hair for two years now and I'm beginning to get bored - I need something new! I'm open to any ideas really apart from colouring it red. Mostly I need opinions on either shoulder length black hair OR long blonde hair (something which I always get varying opinions for, some think it would look good others think disgusting... ) Though any ideas would be good too !

I think you would suit either but if you're looking for a real change then blond would be my shout. You could always go to a wig shop (usually on markets) and try a blond wig on to see if it suits you, that's what I've done before. :P xx

I really want to try blonde but I am so scared! Its worth a try though but so many people say it will look disgusting it makes me cautious..

You have such lovely shiny hair, it would be a shame to bleach it blonde IMO.

Personally i don't think you should cut it short, because you look lovely with long hair and i just think long hair suits your face shape so much better than how short hair would do.

However I think you should get more shape to it via layers and feathering on the sides so the style of it would look something a bit like this:

However I dont think you should go blonde for two reasons.
1. Your hair is very darkat the moment which means you'll need to bleach it multiple times in order to get a blond colour. This will KILL your hair, it will feel like straw and its not worth it.
2. Dark hair really suits you!

So for colour consider getting some blonde highlights instead of bleaching the whole lot, your hair will be in so much nicer condition.

Or maybe try and ombre the ends? Bleach them to a medium brown colour rather than a blonde like this:

The good thing about this is you never have to worry about roots


And also if you fancy a change you can use directions non perminant colour on the ends (they have pinks, blues, purples, greens dyes) and after 3 weeks the colour will have completely washed out and you can use a different one also this dye doesnt damage your hair AT ALL so you ca use it as much as you like

going blonde would KILL your hair, don't ruin its lovely condition! maybe keep it longish, but have layers put in so it's lighter and more style-able?
