Re: xoxAngel_Kxox's FINAL Before/After weight loss thread!Actually my other threads are locked!(Original post by Carpediemxx)
Really great work and i think you've done so well to make such a difference...but really? another thread? could have gone in the other ones? -
Re: xoxAngel_Kxox's FINAL Before/After weight loss thread!Congrats! You look fab(Original post by xoxAngel_Kxox)
The title will ring in your ears forever. GREAT NEWS! xoxAngel_Kxox is going to SHUT UP about her weight loss (unless specifically asked).
Although I do have a couple more pounds to lose, you won't be able to tell much more difference photo wise, so this is the last time I'm going to mention it.
Ignore what my ticker says, that's only showing weight loss since I started this specific "journey" in January 2011.
In this photo, there is 115lbs difference between the two photos.

So there we go!
Why am I posting this? Because a lovely troll told me earlier that I was ugly, annoying, and that nobody was interested. So for the people that ARE interested, here is the final photo. For those who are not you can cheer because you won't have to see such threads from me again.
To all those who are struggling with their weight right now; so was I when I started. I never thought I could be slim, never even thought I could get below "obese" to be honest, but there we go. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it!
I only want to lose a stone, but this has spurred me on so much! -
Re: xoxAngel_Kxox's FINAL Before/After weight loss thread! That's the main thing I've been trying to do, because I've realised you don't have to exercise 24/7 and eat lettuce all day- just make sensible choices! So trying to spread that message.(Original post by Catchetat)
congrats on the weight loss. keep it up! inspire your overweight friends to do the same! -
Re: xoxAngel_Kxox's FINAL Before/After weight loss thread! You put a lot of effort. However, you were not "obese" at all. You were just larger and were also lovely.(Original post by xoxAngel_Kxox)

EDIT: My old threads are long locked guys, for those saying why couldn't I use one of those! Just that some people seemed to like my updates so I thought it only fair to post my final update.
Anyway, it is good that you are happy with your current body.

I actually really admire her for her achievments, so don't turn this into a negative. But I'm sure she was obese before she started her weight loss. She has had an amazing journey, and to take away from her starting point is insulting in my opinion. -

The picture she posted is not the picture of an obese person. I have seen larger people than that and they were fine. Obviously you have not read my first sentence that went: "You put a lot of effort." which shows my admiration so don't shove your misconceptions on here. She just wanted to get slimmer and did it with loads of courage. End of. No one is taking away anything from her. I just stated something obvious which you fail to see. Surely, you are the one who is being partial while I am being objective. I was not necessarily praising her or insulting her (a person that brave does not need it anyway as she has already demonstrated in her very first post if you have read it) but just stating a fact. Come back when your judgement is not clouded.

Re: xoxAngel_Kxox's FINAL Before/After weight loss thread! My judgement is not clouded, perhaps you don't understand how obesity works. I've seen people who are bigger too, but that really has nothing to do with this conversation.(Original post by Juichiro)

She weighed almost 20 stone in the beginning, which when you look it up is actually obese for any height. She reached 11 stone recently, which is normal BMI for her height. She was obese, when you look at the figures.
Sometimes obesity looks completely different on different people, I agree. It's not always a case of being able to tell by looking. I knew someone who was 2 bmi points from being obese, but they certainly didn't look it at all. It's really not as simple as looking.
Edit: I would like to apologise for the way I worded the original post though. I had been drinking, so didn't write quite as nicely as I usually would.Last edited by Emaemmaemily; 09-09-2012 at 11:16. -
Re: xoxAngel_Kxox's FINAL Before/After weight loss thread!(Original post by Emaemmaemily)
xI appreciate your comments, honestly I do, but Em is right, I was obese. My BMI was 37 when I started publicly weighing, it was probably over 40 at my heaviest weight, which is actually morbidly obese.(Original post by Juichiro)

I don't know how much I weighed exactly in the photo I posted here, but I do know that I have no photos of me at my heaviest weight because I avoided the camera at all costs.
A lot of people do say that they can't believe how heavy I was, and I guess I should take that as a compliment! But it would be worth pointing out that I am 5'10" so I might carry the weight better than someone shorter.
how do you feel now that you have achieved what you wanted?
