Will I have less fun on a rollercoaster by myself?
So basically long story short I have to go Thorpe Park tomorrow and my whole year HAS to go. I don't really have a lot of friends and I was wondering if I was on the coach (by myself) and in the theme park (by myself) will I have less fun? Please give some reasonable advice as I have no clue!
Thanks! -

Not really. At least you will have autonomy over which rides you go on, how many times you go on them, and where you want to sit. On the other hand, queues can be boring and you will have nobody with whom you can empathise after getting off the ride.

Re: Will I have less fun on a rollercoaster by myself? On the bright side some place do it so single people can get in fast by filling in seats on a roller coaster(Original post by YaYazooGirl)

Re: Will I have less fun on a rollercoaster by myself?
Depends on the person I suppose. I'd have a brilliant time on my own at a theme park. I don't mind queuing alone, I always want to go on every ride I can fit into a day, and I get ridiculously silly and bouncy (so people are usually slightly embarassed by the 26 year old rampaging child). But then I love my own company and usually prefer being alone to being with other people. Plus the adreneline stops me from being shy like I am normally, so I am suddenly happy to chat away to strangers in queues

Bear in mind that at some theme parks people who are riding alone can join the front to the queue and fill in the empty seats e.g. if three people want to ride together in a four seat ride, so you will probably get to go on more rides alone than if you want to sit with other people. -

IT'S A ROLLERCOASTER!!! They're always fun, even when you're on your own. Anyone who doesn't love rollercoasters usually has something wrong with them. Ie: They get violently sick when they're on them. But you might get bored wandering around and queuing up by yourself. Just make small talk with the other people in the queue.
What kind of school do you go to where the whole year has to go to a theme park? I wish I'd gone to that school!

Re: Will I have less fun on a rollercoaster by myself?Yes they will.(Original post by Cherriesxo)
First thing I think of is that alot of rollercoasters are 2 seaters, the people running the rollercoaster won't let you sit on your own. Try and sit with someone in the coach then you can hang around with them when you're there
but if you're paired up with someone you don't know I.e. from the public, I find that they tend to be very friendly and are willing to have a conversation with oneself
