    Harvard Extension School?
    Hi there.

I'm thinking of enrolling with Harvard Extension School to study for a Master's in Journalism or Management with a view to completing the degree via a combination of online and on-campus courses.

I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience of this and what you can tell me about the study etc.?

I guess the attraction of this for me is the combination of online and on-campus study for what is essentially a Harvard degree. Sure it may not be exactly the same as a fully on-campus course but from what I've gathered you still get all the rights and privilleges etc e.g. Harvard Student ID, email and alumni status etc and I guess having the Harvard name on your CV wouldn't be so bad would it?

Thanks. Yeah I'm not surprised the old age "Is HES as good as Harvard College" debate.

The way I see it it's a Harvard degree run by Harvard tutors and even if it is open enrollment you still need to meet the high standards and pass the exams and you get all the trimmings of a Harvard degree/education; email address, alumni groups etc.

Still it doesn't stop the haters!
