    Fake tan advice?
I've decided to start using fake tan because I'm pale. Like deathly pale, the high street brands don't even make foundation to match my skin tone and I'm really freckly as well. Because of this I can't tan, so I've never used fake tan because I'm not sure it'll suit me. Where do I start with it because I'm terrified of it going wrong :s

Hiya. I'm ghostly pale and I use the Dove Summer Skin moisturiser.
Basically, it has a hint of fake tan that just gives you a nice gradual glow. I only use a little bit a week just to take the edge off my deathly white skin but if I used more, it would build to a nice gradual tan

Also if you think it doesn't suit you it comes off after a few showers

I use Fake Bake Original. I do it on a night before bed and wake up looking very tangoed but it washes off to a natural looking tan after a shower! Use a tanning mitt

Just always be careful around your hairline, elbows, feet and hands. This will ensure it looks natural.

I'm pale as well and am in love with St Moriz fake tan (mousse). It tends to sit better on my upper body rather than legs but I just use a gradual tanner on them.

All you have to remember is EXFOLIATE and MOISTURISE and you shouldn't go far wrong

I you're really pale i would suggest the rimmel instant tan sunshimmer. you can get in matter or shimmery shade (i prefer the shimmery one, doesnt look as harsh) in light or dark. i'd say its a gentle tan and washes off easily. my fabsolute avourite though is the st moriz, as already meantioned. it's brilliant but in all honestly it does leave me looking tangoed (but i dont wash it off before going out). so perhaps that one will be too much of a shock to the system if you dont wear fake tan

I can recommend MaxTan tanning tablets. You need don't need to worry about any of that messy fake tan spray going everywhere, no lines and no smell. Been using it for a couple of months now and very happy with the results.

dont just shove it on as that will leave you looking blotchy and i suggest you do it before you go to bed and definitely not before going out as if it does look bad everyone will see. also make sure your skin is mosturised and if you have eczema dont use fake tan. a girl at my prom had not mosturised and has a skin condition so it went horribly patchy and looked awful. hope this is useful

It's nice to have a summer glow, especially in summer. Why should being white make you happy?

i use garnier summer body in light. It's great because it builds up but gives you some colour straight away. Also, it's cheaper than others and smells amazing! I apply a light coat every other day and I'm incredibly pale too so it will work ok for you Plus, it's really moisturising so it;s more like a tinted body lotion.

A nice bronze tan helps to provide confidence. Can't do with all that spray and lotion messy stuff, it tanning tablets all the way for me.

Wow, that is really very sad you are pale but out of self-hatred want to be a different pigment.

I tried a professionally done spray tan once - NEVER again. I had such a terrible allergic reaction to it I had to go into A&E!

It's paleness all the way for me now.

Just be careful on your knees, elbows and ankles as your skin is very dry there and the tan tends to stick to dry skin, be careful with your hands and feet as well.
Also make sure you exfoliate before tanning, so it decreases the chances of you getting a streaky, uneven tan.
