LOL I'm a southerner, but it's in Tyne and Wear - though I guess the only reason I know that is because I have been up to the Newcastle/Tyne and Wear region a fair bit. If people genuinely haven't heard of the place I'm from, I give them a nearby town/city that most people have heard of.

Hardly the stupidest question I've ever heard, and it was understandable anyway. If she's never been down south or paid any attention to tennis whatsoever, then its not surprising that she would be confused like that.

It is understandable that she wouldn't know that Wimbledon is on the outskirts of London if she is from the North with little interest in tennis. Also, we all have our blind spots, I'm sure. Although I would have thought that a quick Google search for her query would have been better and saved the responses.

Pub quiz trivia As I said though, if you cared about it enough to watch it for even just a few years you'd notice it was held in the same place, and given that she knew it was in London it would have made sense to look where it was in 2011 before asking on Twitter.
