Pleads the government to lift immigration controls to help our struggling businesses. They can't afford to hire premium British workers and would prefer cheaper foreign alternatives without the hassle of relocating. Please help businesses by letting in more cheap workers otherwise their profits will be lower.

I don't quite get this. Surely, they can just employ people at the same wage? The only real difference I see between "natives" and "immigrants" is the work ethic

What a ridiculous petition. The British "Premium Workforce" aren't exactly too demanding in their calls for minimum wage - sure some people get paid too much for what they do (a number of tube drivers come to mind) but on the whole the Premium Workforce get by on relatively modest pay. So long as every is bound by the minimum wage there will be negligable difference in the rates of pay for migrant and native workers.

Whilst this is certainly a troll given your isolationist stance i will be voting No to this petition.

We get a sufficient level of immigration from the EU for unskilled jobs and need not encourage greater immigration, the exception being for people educated to PHD level in areas such as engineering, Maths and the Sciences.
