not altogether sure what u mean but, if u are after recommendations for books/guides regards returning to learn then the following is quite useful (at least i found it to be) - cos it reminds u of all the things u used to know but may have forgotten

I don't think study guides for mature students come much better than the Open University ones. There's a general study guide as well as more specific ones for the arts and the sciences. Good luck!
