    For me an all time list, in no particular order, would be:

    Male: Freddie Mercury, Ronnie James Dio
    Female: Anneke Van Giersbergen (by a long way), Charlotte Wessels, Elizabeth Frazer, Lisa Gerrard

    Lately my favourite by far has been Anneke Van Giersbergen. Her replacement Silje Wergeland in The Gathering sounds great too.

    Paolo Nutini. The raspy sound in his voice isn't that annoying type and he can really hit some high notes!

    well i refuse to say until i've heard every voice in the world... there is probably some unknown out there with a magical voice, who knows.

    but from the people i know singing wise: Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, had to copy and paste her middle and surname :P (from Of Monsters And Men) reason: it's just beautiful and soothing and i literally feel like bathing in it... runner up would be jason lancaster, i love his voice, i want to eat it :') - sorry, me being weird...

    Jeremy Irons, James Earl Jones, Jason Isaacs, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Strong, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, Antonio Banderas...I have a long list. Can't think of any girls voices I love at the moment.



    Ahhh. Can anything match those voices?
