I would have to say Jeremy Irons. He really has a beautiful voice. A bit melancholic i think, peaceful.
But when it comes to singers no one tops Mr. Mercury . Plain fab

well i refuse to say until i've heard every voice in the world... there is probably some unknown out there with a magical voice, who knows.

but from the people i know singing wise: Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, had to copy and paste her middle and surname :P (from Of Monsters And Men) reason: it's just beautiful and soothing and i literally feel like bathing in it... runner up would be jason lancaster, i love his voice, i want to eat it :') - sorry, me being weird...

You must be waiting to meet me then .

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Tho I am told quite frequently by girls that I do have a sexy voice.

Singer: Florence Welch (I just love her I'm very bias because her genre is perfect for me ) if I'd say one that I'm not in love with it'd be Freddie Mercury
    Talking: Morgan Free

Lately my favourite by far has been Anneke Van Giersbergen.
Very good choice. But she would come second to the late Karen Carpenter, IMO.

    If for singing, Josh Groban.

Not a big fan of her sort of music, but Eva Cassidy

Richard Hawley is my current favourite voice, though

    I have double sized lungs.
At least; I spiro'd at 168% with no exercise, and alas I smoked.
My dad was a Catholic quire-boy, and my mum a professional singer.
I appear to have a 5 octave voice, in contrast to the three songbirds (Cassidy, Carey & Leona Lewis's) 4 octave.
In a recent competition to find someone to hit a certain low note, that was NO problem, and I continued to go into a deeper dive still until all the crockery began rumbling with resonant sub-harmonics.
In short, I can go extremely LOW, and extremely HIGH. The pitch of my voice is pleasant, but (apart from a few conducive melodies) fundamentally ruined by smoking.
In addition to being surrounded by a bunch of uncaring pricks who "throw" cigarettes at me knowing I have a lung condition, I also have a finer trigger for lockup (everyone's anxiety "feeding back" through their pulmonary system in tightening of the chest, increased respiration etc.). Also; I don't appear to have the greatest number of dopamine receptors. Basically; I go NUTS if I attempt to completely cease from smoking. Still; occasionally; I escape the zoo. And the pleasant melodies which shake the shower glass reverberate to the sad loss of a would be legend.

Also; I have (impacted) double-sized wisdom teeth (were hell on earth). Guess what else I have double-sized ? I'll give you a clue: They too come in a pair and are as far south of the lungs as the teeth are north...
    Any thoughts ?
    An ancient hunting/reproduction gene ?
A guy once said I was at the top of the evolutionary ladder.
    Nice guy.
Ah; you couldn't make this **** up, could you ?

Can we establish once and for all, talking or singing? If the former, can't believe that nobody has said Matt Berry.
