Re: Who has the best voice in the world?
I'm far too indecisive and have a much too broad range of music taste to decide on one person. I could listen to Johnny Cash all day and night I reckon though.. I also really like the sound of a lot of more modern male singers in bands like Billy Talent, Foo Fighters etc. and I'm a big fan of Alex Clare. Pavarotti is unbeaten as far as I know in terms of strength. My favourite female voices are probably Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Alicia Keys.. I like the sound of Lana Del Rey but I don't know how much of it is natural because apparently she's not very good live.
EDIT: Remembered a few more lol Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and I've always liked the sound of Bryan Adams and MeatloafLast edited by littleone271; 18-07-2012 at 05:18. -

I second both of these, do you like Jeff Buckley's voice? Thom's singing was massively influenced by his voice

Your a GG fan!! OMD never met one on here haha!!
You'll all think I'm terribly sad but I love Chris Moyles' voice waking me up in the morning, I laugh myself silly while half asleep listening to him! Gutted he's leaving.

Re: Who has the best voice in the world? What about the raspiness of Kelly Jones (Stereophonics lead singer)? Do you think his voice is too raspy?(Original post by Pitt1988)
Paolo Nutini. The raspy sound in his voice isn't that annoying type and he can really hit some high notes!
But overall I think it's the latter.
