The Circumcision Controversy - But circumcised genitalia looks 'better'.

Poll

Male genitalia - Which one looks better?

I was talking to a friend about this (he was Jewish) and he ended up saying that an uncircumcised penis looks quite weird and less 'manly'.

In a way I agree with him. If you see a comparison, the uncircumcised penis looks like a deformed monster. The circumcised penis looks more 'clean' (in the sense of 'finished and polished off' or neat).

What does everybody else think?

I can't for the life of me think of the benefits of having an uncircumcised penis - really, in the medical field, it is the circumcised person that enjoys lower risks to certain infections/diseases/pain etc.

EDIT: - I've now added a poll - which one looks better? Circumcised or uncircumcised? Vote now!

Who ****ing cares what it looks like. And being circumcised gets rid of some of your most sensitive and pleasurable nerve endings, brilliant.

Im rather curious why you and your friend were discussing the asthetics of your gentlemanly bits but none the less, basically what classical liberal said..

Because some humans have concluded that they have about 80-100 odd years in existence and don't care to beat around the bush or be shy.

Oh really? And the lots and lots of people who are circumcised have really attested to feeling such a loss, right?

They don't know. I can tell you my foreskin is sensitive. Suck on that.

And the frenulum. Goodness gracious, nothing quite like a tongue just lightly massaging it.

It is just science you ****ing moron. If something has nerve endings, and then you cut that thing off, you lose those nerve endings. Pro circumcision people are so stupid. Just because your parents ****ed you over does not mean that you should actively encourage others to also be ****ed over.

Unneccesary circumcision, particularly of a child who cannot decide for themselves, for no medical reason, is genital mutilation.
Cutting around 15 square inches of sexual tissue away (on an adult penis) is obviously going to affect sensation!!

The risk of infection argument is crap!! If you want to avoid infections, practice safe sex and keep clean!! You don't remove breasts to prevent breast cancer or mastitis.

Aesthetics is not a reason for mutilation... I prefer how the penis looks uncut... but thats irrelevant

I've seen 2 children bleed to death from having their penis circumcised, and none die from not having it circumcised.

Risks of infections from unprotected sex are slightly decreased but much better reduced by simply having safe sex (what a novel suggestion).
I think circumcised ones look weird tbh. Really odd... and not attractive.

Natural ones with a foreskin just look normal, and the foreskin looks kind of cute  Besides being fun to play with.

Obviously, I'm not shallow enough to reject a man because he was circumcised, the whole package is more important, but I do cross my fingers and hope that guys aren't before I get naked with them. Fortunately, natural ones far outnumber circumcised ones in the UK.
If not for medical reasons, I consider it genital mutilation. If you're not a ****ing retard you should be able to keep yourself clean.

I made sure my Jewish fiance knows my opinion on this and I would sue any doctor that dared circumsize my future sons.
As a girl, uncirc looks so much better.

That isn't the point!! Thats like saying if you were born without your outer ear isn't a loss, because you don't know any different. You shouldn't have to know any different unless you are able to consciously choose to or NEED to have it removed for medical reasons.

Seriously, VERY few adult men would go through the process of circumcision unless they HAD to, so why put a baby through it... Saying it wouldn't remember the pain or feel the loss is NOT a justification.
Honestly, no penises look good - neither do vulvas. They're very weird looking things, as to be quite honest are any body parts when looked at in isolation. Circumcised or not, they aint pretty!

I couldn't justify it except for medical reasons; as I see it, it's equal to removing the clitoral hood. If this was done routinely or for no medical reason there would be an outcry, as there should be for removal of the foreskin.

But surely when a partner is aroused and sees that strong erect penis, they're aroused further by looking at it and it looks 'good' then, no? You're a girl - am I right?

Totally had a brain dead moment there and clicked the wrong thing on the poll. I am personally not majorly bothered but I do think uncircumcised looks unusual to me, but then again I suppose that is because of what a penis does normally look like. I'm a girl but I still have to agree with daisydaffodil that, let's face it, human genitalia are really quite odd looking, on the whole (pun not intended).

What gets me is that male circumcision is used to justify safer sex on minors and questions of whether they can really consent are not really given much attention. If a person cannot have a tattoo in this country until they are 18 then how come consent is not an issue for therapeutic reasons for circumcision?

I think some penises look great! I love looking at them. Well, uncircumcised ones anyway, and I definitely compare different penises I've seen in terms of their prettiness... some I could look at and play with all day. The foreskin is an amazing thing. I love just playing with it and moving it up and down, watching how it stretches and looking at it close up.

I think vulvas can be really beautiful too. I'm a straight girl but occasionally I really like watching porn of women touching themselves, close up, if they happen to have my idea of a really pretty vulva (I don't like non-existent labia, I like the ones that look like petals on a beautiful flower )

I agree with everything you said about circumcision, though. We'd be horrified if minor FGM, removal of the hood, was allowed on young girls. Routine male infant circumcision is not justifiable.
