Hey guys I'm in amsterdam with a mate and we are looking to go out clubbing. Any recommendations and on which nights to go to would be good. Also any good clubs on a tuesday night ?

Didn't go clubbing when I was there, but we did do bit of a bar crawl. There are quite a lot of good and lively bars around Leidseplein which seem to be where people go for drinking, dancing etc - might be clubs there too. 'Amsterdamned' was a pretty good bar!

Just bear in mind nowhere n Amsterdam is very cheap for drinking - a half litre of beer was about 4.50-5 euros, so have a few pre drinks from a shop first!

Dont tell me yoour entire stay is mid week? Might be different in the summer months-but was told during the week it is quite dead, so ensure went during the weekend a few months back. Yes it might have cost more but its worth it....
Leidesplein or Rembrandtplein are the main areas for nightlife. Even the smaller places in each of these squares is rammed pack.

Its been a while since I've been there so I can't recommend somewhere for a Tuesday night sadly.

However, as always, please be vigilant when travelling abroad, especially in high tourist areas. These places are designed to hustle your money away.

Ignore the guy who said its dead during the week. ITS NOT

Going during the week is the time to go - We didnt see one brit during our 4 nights there! PERFECT ! but loads of spanish, german, sweedish, swiss, dutch, you name it, was awesome.

We went to where all the bars are, jumped in a few bar crawls which was awesome, and mostly girls, and ended up going to some church converted into a club, everynight we went out and had a amazing time, its buzzing there, we went late september monday-thursday

did the whole red light district/weed thing on the first night after that went to the local bars and clubs, amazing place to go if your looking for fun, just ask the dutch people for locations, theyre the friendliest nation ive met

Calm down sunshine. It was just what numerous locals said I was there a few months back Friday to Monday (sunday was dead). And locals including several expat bar owners insisted it was dead sunday to wednesday.
