I created a fake profile on a dating website to see how they work. I know it's unfair on genuine men. Problem is one got chatting to me and I kept replying, this has been going on for a month and he wants to meet. Over a week ago I sent a message from my real profile to stop this trolling and he didn't respond. I am much better looking than the fake profile, my friend said my fake picture looks like an easy girl. I can't tell him I lied as he said someone did that to him before but they turned out to be uglier and he left the date straight away. What should I do?

I know it's moot now, but you should have deleted the fake profile, then messaged him on your real profile because you 'saw him by chance and thought he looked like a cool guy'.

Because he wants sex; if you were uglier than the fake picture you put up, he probably wouldn't have carried on messaging you.
