I think it's a pretty decent track.
I only know a few Bloc Party tunes though, I need to go give their albums a proper listen at some point.

Meh. Pretty standard UK indie guff really. It's not a bad track, quite decent actually. It's just not particularly spectacular, but hey, they don't need to blow the roof off with every release so I'd say this track was at least pretty competent.

The music video is dire though. The whole thing feels like it was directed by a sixth former doing 'Film Studies' trying to be edgy and different.

I've been listening to it obsessively since it leaked on Saturday. It's the best guitar song I've heard this year. It's dark, it's brooding and it's menacing. I love the video too, it's fun. Four is going to be the album of the year.

As for the new Killers song, that's one of the worst examples of a guitar song that I've heard all year.

What did you think ? I love it personally sounds more like their old stuff (Day & Age) which I quite liked, as opposed to most of (Sams town).

And Bloc party are kind of a one hit wonder, havent really heard a song I've liked since Helicopter. Octopus is a bit too slow, they definately need to go back to their style in Silent Alarm (Fast paced).

Yeh, I wasn't a fan when I first heard it but since listening to it more and more, it's becoming a track I quite like.

I'm not sure I agree. They're more of a ban that don't push out the "hits" but have a steady, consistent approach, imo.
