Am I too old to study French?
The title doesn't explain my whole concern, however, I am a little worried.

I am 19 years old and left school 3 years a go. I got a B at GCSE French and this year I have decided to return to a levels.

I really want to do French at AS, I have the grade, I just haven't learnt it in so long and I am freaking a little as I am scared I haven't done it in so long that I will forget :/

If anyone could help? Or offer any advice?

My other a level choices are history, philosophy, chemistry and politics.

No, you can learn a language at nearly any age. But the main issue will be whether you can take the exams (or study at a college) free of charge because of your age. I think there might be a problem there anyway (unless you've got that sorted out anyway). But being 19 doesn't stop you from learning a language at all.

Doesn't stop you learning it. Perhaos your college could offer some extra classes initially to help you get a leg up and ease the rust as such. Good luck!

I think there should be a french learners society on TSR. Use it. Use the resources on the internet and your French will improve loads. Don't worry about making mistakes, just try your best to learn from them because that's how you develop
