I have known women who have completed their education when having a child. You have one advantage over both of them, who both found the baby's father did not want to know and deserted them.

Thanks for all the replies, I am very appreciative.

I have decided to keep the baby, earn my way, study hard and look after it the best I can. Abortion just isn't an option for me anymore, I'd regret it more than ever not finishing my degree (I'm still planning on finishing it, though!) I definitely have a lot of growing up to do and I'm really looking forward to it now.

I'm sure my boyfriend and I will manage our finances and be able to make our baby as happy as it will make us.

Thanks again for all the advice.
    congratulations and best of luck

Hey I'm not sure if my opinion will have any effect on you. How ever I hope I'm not too late if it does.

1stly I'm a disgusted by the lack of support shown. 'Can you provide' 'I would have an abortion' 'an abortion is probably the best thing to do'.

I have had an abortion worst choice of my life. A choice made out of fear, a choice made out of other peoples judgments.

Having a child is a natural part of life, we are in a modern world. Having a child no longer need to rule or govern your life.

Ok I am in my third year and pregnant, and I am looking forward to it. My support at uni is brilliant, I have a 3 year old already. His dad is in his life and will be in this child's. I am 24.

Was not a planned pregnancy, but the best things rarely are. I will work my a** off the same way I would anyway. I will not change.

The amount of women, students and lectures that have been pregnant these past 2 years is in the double figures.

Like I said it natural and being pregnant is the easy bit. Stay healthy, stay positive and organise your work so if you need time of for an illness your prepared and in some cases ahead. So you can afford yourself the time.

Look how many professional women there are in the world with children. - know some very successful women, from doctors, to nurses, to counsellor who all studied while being pregnant.

If you want to have an abortion that is your choice ....but remember its not your only choice. And make sure its a choice you can live with.

I wish you the best of luck what ever choice you make. What ever choice you make if you need someone to talk to, who can tell you about both sides of the coin. I will give you my contact details.

    Keep up head up xx
