I'd go with ones without the zip personally, as they're more multipurpose - if you're spending a decent amount on shoes I'd want some I could wear to formal events too.

the shoe is really nice and on the whole I'm fine with visible chunky zips on clothing, but not on a smart shoe. If it was a casual shoe then yes. On the other hand it's pretty unique and they still look smart so go for it if you like.

The shoes are fine, but the zip looks horrible. I definitely wouldn't spend that much money on them. But if you like them more than anything else you've seen then you should get them (:

It's the sort of shoe I could imagine Primark selling an imitation version of, for about £12. So no, don't spend that much on them! I also don't like them that much :P The zip would make them too casual for work IMO (and for that price I imagine you don't want them for a night out?!)
