i am someone who would like to work in the banking sector such as hsbc, standard chartered, citi etc
    or un economics department.
i would like some advice here:

would taking ucl bsc (econ) economics and geography be better than edinburgh's (ma) economics?

and would taking msc economics at lse help?

How long's a piece of string? Theres so many more factors to consider rather than purely a university degree. But LSE would be the best course out of them in terms of prestige.

Both the london universities would give you better opportunities for work experience.

yes i am fully aware that there are so many other factors....

i would like to ask how do employers regard univ of edinburgh's MA economics at undergraduate with lse msc economics (masters taught)

also, then ucl's combined degree in the geo department would have much more advantage than edinburgh's pure econ?
