    Best wine to buy as a leaving gift
    Does anyone have any ideas on the best wine to buy for my tutor as a leaving gift. Hes a funny guy. Don't want to spend lots on him but a decent price nonethe less.

    Well wine is a very tricky one. Do they like red or white? Dry or sweet? Do they actually drink wine?

    If you don't know the answers to these then buy a reasonably well priced bottle of dry white from German/Australian/French roots.

    But don't even bother if they are a wine conniseur.

    Personally, I like a good Malbec or a Merlot.
