Plastic surgery - breast size
Okay, so after much contemplating - I am getting a boob job. I am not going to elaborate on the reasons, as it will take up an entire thread. I've been to several consultations and will obviously use a well-reputed surgeon.
Now currently I am around a 34B. They vary with my weight, I can sometimes fit into 36A. As I have some breast tissue, the result will be more natural (main problem is lacking shape). If you look at photos of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley without a push-up, that's about me.
I want to have an actual increase so that I get my moneys worth, but I want something tasteful (not a TOWIE look). I tried on 340 implants at the surgeon's and they looked nice and natural. She said it would give me a small D cup. I've always associated D cups with "really big boobs", but they are not (as many girls on here probably can confirm).
Now - the real problem. As many petite-breasted girls know, I have previously embraced my breasts and enjoyed the advantages. I usually go for a classic fashion style, and have always played up elegance more than sex appeal. Having small breasts have meant that I can wear pretty much anything. Having bigger breasts will limit my wardrobe, but I don't want to limit it too much. I am overall slim, a UK 8, 5"9 and 125 lbs. I am not a stick, I have a little butt and hips. So my question to the girls here is: when do breasts get to the point where you really have to dress differently? Will a full C / small D make me look a lot bigger?
Edit: No idea what the negs are about. I've changed the title, so if you're anti plastic surgery, no reason to read to begin with.Last edited by Millie228; 12-07-2012 at 01:08. -
Re: Boob size
Hmm I don't think having bigger boobs will make you look bigger because you're very slim anyway. However, they will limit what you can wear. I'm a D/DD and I have to be quite careful. My boobs won't fit in maxi dresses (or any item of clothing) with a 'designated' bit for boobs (for example: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/d...ress_251049329). Try not to wear loose fitting dresses/tops that just hang down from your boobs - it can look matronly and as a size twelve girl I can end up looking HUUUGE. You won't be able to buy bikini tops in size 8/10/12/14 etc because you'll have to go massive before your boobs fit in them and they won't fit anywhere else; you'll have to buy the ones in bra sizes which are more expensive.
Also, sport will be harder to do - they'll be bouncing everywhere.
Really think this through. I would kill for B cup breasts - so much easier and still really attractive. I understand it's what you want to do but it's not all it's cracked up to be.

there is so much pressure to have good boobs and I am now giving in.
Anyway... Don't do it! Fake breasts look vile and scream of insecurity. I'd honestly rather someone be completely flatchested than have two footballs stuck there.
But hey, that's just me. -

This is just sad...
Leave her alone she's already decided and just cause you don't like them doesn't mean the rest of the world agrees, plus if she likes them that's the most important thing -

Anyway here's a totally flat chested woman who I think is stunning:

But, OP, men don't all think boobs matter. -
Re: Boob sizeI always get bikinis with bra sizes anyway. I've worn push up bikini tops for ages and am fed up. Seeing as they're implants, my breasts won't hang the same way. I hope to get bandeau or triangle tops - tops I haven't worn before because they made me look flat. My breasts are perky, but since they stand right out like two little mountains, they have zero shape. So if I get a triangle top, I look flat. And seeing as I have a butt, I get a very unflattering pear shape. This is the only way I can get the right proportions.(Original post by kate1212)

Regarding size, Adriana Lima is a C cup and they aren't massice (at least not without photoshop). They look quite natural as well (she had them done when very young - that's a reason not to wait, so people can grow accustomed to your breasts). Megan Fox got hers enlarged from A to C, and they still don't look enormous (although I don't like the general look of hers, they're too far apart). So maybe a full C is right for me. -
Re: Boob size
You wont be able to exercise properly anymore and bras/anything for boobs will be a lot more expensive

You also end up looking 'bigger' overall depending on the clothes.
You'll also have to really watch your posture/back. I went up 2/3 sizes from being on the pill and was NOT prepared.. sigh.. -
Re: Boob sizeYeah I know, but if there was a girl with Frankie's looks but bigger breasts, she'd get the attention on the beach.(Original post by Wilfred Little)

I am not going in on a long debate on why I have decided on it. Obviously miles and miles of articles on what "real women look like" is part of it. But it's mostly personal preference, despite being overall attractive I have noticed that my breast size is always a "minus". The men I've been with love my body, but I want to love it myself too. When men point out that some flat-chested or small breasted woman is attractive, it's always in spite of their breasts. I don't want anyone to like me in spite of my breasts. But alas, the overall opinion with the majority is that bigger breasts are more attractive. I won't go huge, maybe a full C.Last edited by Millie228; 12-07-2012 at 00:56. -

I don't think men are being fully serious when they say stuff like that though, it comes across as laddish behaviour. I genuinely don't think it bothers them that much.
Good luck

Re: Boob sizeYep, couldn't agree more.(Original post by King Kebab)
Many of them are beautiful just the way they are.
