OP since you're such a self conscience slag, why stop at your tits?

    Why not your arse?

Upper body can be decent but the waist down can make or break the deal.

Personally like to grab a bit of arse when I'm drilling my gf but yeah thats just me (and err 99% of other guys)

get an arse job too darling

If it makes her happier I don't see why not?
But didn't you read her (now edited, but quoted by me earlier) post? It's not for her, it's for society. There's so much "pressure to have good boobs", as she put it, that she wants to satisfy everyone else by "giving in". Is that really making her happier or someone else? Doing something that you don't want to do to please someone else...

    (Original post by abc:))
Leave her alone she's already decided and just cause you don't like them doesn't mean the rest of the world agrees, plus if she likes them that's the most important thing
Excuse me for questioning society's judgements.

    I heard it and I don't care.

It's obviously bothering her, I don't care about the reasons why.

Okay, so after much contemplating - I am getting a boob job. I am not going to elaborate on the reasons, as it will take up an entire thread. I've been to several consultations and will obviously use a well-reputed surgeon.

Now currently I am around a 34B. They vary with my weight, I can sometimes fit into 36A. As I have some breast tissue, the result will be more natural (main problem is lacking shape). If you look at photos of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley without a push-up, that's about me.

I want to have an actual increase so that I get my moneys worth, but I want something tasteful (not a TOWIE look). I tried on 340 implants at the surgeon's and they looked nice and natural. She said it would give me a small D cup. I've always associated D cups with "really big boobs", but they are not (as many girls on here probably can confirm).

Now - the real problem. As many petite-breasted girls know, I have previously embraced my breasts and enjoyed the advantages. I usually go for a classic fashion style, and have always played up elegance more than sex appeal. Having small breasts have meant that I can wear pretty much anything. Having bigger breasts will limit my wardrobe, but I don't want to limit it too much. I am overall slim, a UK 8, 5"9 and 125 lbs. I am not a stick, I have a little butt and hips. So my question to the girls here is: when do breasts get to the point where you really have to dress differently? Will a full C / small D make me look a lot bigger?

Edit: No idea what the negs are about. I've changed the title, so if you're anti plastic surgery, no reason to read to begin with.
    Hi,

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with plastic surgery. If that what you want then go for it. My pet hate is plastic surgery that does not look natural, why spend all that money on something that looks fake is my view. you wouldn't do that for a fake designer bag, so why do it on parts of your body.

But I will say that going for a D - cup will put on the larger breast sizes. I'm 5"8.5 (37.5-26.5-34.5) 60kgs with 32E (Natural!!!) and while I do think they are in proportion, I do find them to be a little too big for my liking sometimes. I would say go for no more than a C-Cup on you, as you are quite slim, so you would find shopping for your new size a struggle if you went bigger. I'm the opposite to most large-chested girls and I play them down and never try to show cleavage unless I can't help it. But do be prepared to say bye to certain types of clothing that won't fit your new body shape and they do look sluttish on big boobs.

Hope this helps and good luck.

    Hi,
Thanks for advice. The only thing is that the different sizes look different on different people. And a lot of the time they are smaller than you think. I am currently a 34B and they are small - if I saw them objectively on a photo, I would guess A. A close friend of mine is a D-cup - they are nice looking breasts but not "big" and by NO means "huge". If you google D cup in google images, the breasts you get up are way bigger than what most D cups look like.
I tried of 340cc at the surgeon's (implants in a bra) and they did not look big at all. It is of course a very difficult balance - I want them to look natural, delicate and still fit into nice clothes but I want it to be worth the surgery and not be dissatisfied with the size when I'm done. Perhaps I'll go slightly below, 300 or so.
The good thing is, since I have a bit of breast tissue, I can get the implant above the breast muscle. If you're flat, you need to put it underneath, which is what causes implants to look and feel unnatural.
All I'm stressing about now is finding a surgeon that's available in July There is such a long recovery time.

Jeez, I'd kill to be a 34B.....just sayin'

But yeah, I think you'll probably be very aware of being bigger. I think it wont matter too much as you're not going supermassive, but maybe tight fitting tops will be a little too tight, and shift style dresses might look a little odd with a larger chest.
Oh and bikinis will probs have to be more supportive, but then again implants usually stay up better than real boobies so I dunno!

Do it for yourself if itll make you feel better. Don't do it for other people to judge you differently, there's just as many people like a B cup as there are who prefer a bigger size..

Think of how many pairs of shoes you could have for the money!

I see other women with B-cups (like Irina Shayk) and they're bigger than mine, so I don't know..They have better shape at least.
It will prob limit my wardrobe a tiny bit, but I think it should be allright. I want them a size where they seem moderate when I go braless but can look great in a push up (now they can also look nice in a push up, but only in certain clothes, like wrap dresses. I never wear non push up bikini tops, because I feel completely pear shaped and awful). I suppose a full C is best, perhaps a small D.

Avoiding the issue of whether it's a good idea or not, going from a B to a C, I can't imagine you would have any problems. Personally I think a full C would look natural and be better than a D. I understand you don't want to go through all that pain and spend so much money for there to hardly be a difference. But what if you opted for a D, felt it was a bit too big and you didn't suit it, and you weren't 100% happy with it - it would be even worse, because you would have gone through the pain, spent all that money, and end up even more uncomfortable with your boobs than you were before.

If you went for a 34D you might have problems fitting into some types of tops. I'm a 32DD and I find a lot of tight dresses and tops very constricting on the shoulders because they are so tight over my boobs. Also I can't wear tops or dresses with moulded cups, as I'm a size 10 but the cups on a 10 are far too small and I'm bursting out of them. Blouses/shirts are also a problem - you always end up with that dreaded gap between the buttons, right over the front of your bra!

Just want to point out that as someone who seems to think they have breast size totally sussed, a 34B and 36A are exactly the same cup size.

Other than that - it's your body, and if you have the money, I don't see why you shouldn't do what you want to with both.

HOWEVER, as for your wardrobe needing to change: if that's a factor which may influence your decision to get a boob job, you shouldn't be getting a boob job.

I think I'll have a full C cup/small D. They shouldn't get in the way, but I probably will feel extra pressure to stay thin, since the boobs will make me feel "bigger".
I am booked in for surgery the 25th and am meeting the surgeon tomorrow Only thing I'm nervous about is that I haven't actually told anyone I'm having them done - I don't want it to be a public thing. Maybe I will confide in one friend just to have some support

Yeah definitely tell a friend! Everyone is going to know afterwards anyway, so you might as well have some support beforehand. Are you going in for surgery by yourself or is your mum or someone going with you? Good luck, hope it goes well. Let us know how it goes! x

I'm a 36DD. But because of my height I can fit into 10-12 tops most of the time. The problem I find with size 12-14 tops is that I might have to have them cos of my book size, but then they're really baggy over my stomach.

I did find it a bit disheartening when I had to get a 16 dress, but then I realised that it was only cos of my boobage - it wasn't tight at all in other parts!

I have an American friend living in France who's been talking about getting her boobs done since forever - I might go to see her one of these days, so then I'll tell her.
If I'm getting a large C, they won't be 'obvious'. Nobody knows I'm doing it, so I'm going alone. My parents have no idea, and my mother is really not pro cosmetic surgery (although she's made me very body conscious all my life, so I don't think she can criticize..). I'm hoping when I go home for Christmas (might not see them until then), I can wear a thin bra and baggy top - maybe they won't notice.

Don't you have any friends who live nearby who can go with you? How are you going to get back from the hospital? From what I've seen on TV and read on forums, it's extremely painful and you will be feeling weak and tender, and you won't be able to drive yourself. Do you have someone who could pick you up? I think the recovery time is pretty long as well so unless you live by yourself, surely your flatmates or friends will notice that you are in pain and won't be able to leave the house or do much for a few weeks. As for you family, I can understand why you don't want to tell them, but at the end of the day it's your body and you are an adult and free to make your own choices so you shouldn't feel the need to hide it. Be strong and proud of your decision and your new boobs!

I'm 22 and I live by myself. I don't drive a car, so I'd be taking a taxi anyway. The hospital is in Central London so I'm not going to spend the night, but they have a 24 hr phone service after I'm done in case there are problems, after that of course I can call the surgeon by day. They give enough pain killers for a week (first week I must wear the bandage day+night). I'm not actually from here and the friends I have in London are international too, they're back home or on holiday.
I'm on the sofeminine forum which is the biggest I think for UK surgery, and most people say they feel swollen and tired, but not in pain, so :dontknow:
